Save a batch to Inbox
Open JevtabAI in the window you want to tidy. Choose Save & close tabs. If Chrome asks for tab access, granting permission alone won’t close pages; choose the save action again. Links are saved before eligible tabs close.
Only the current ordinary window is captured. Pinned tabs, private windows, internal pages and unsupported links are excluded. Playing pages are included. Save unfinished work first: links and titles are saved, not forms, drafts or exact page state.
Set your Space rules
Create a Space for each project or activity. Write a short description of what belongs there. AI needs at least one Space and classification criteria for every Space. You can edit those criteria anytime.
Manual organization is also available: drag saved links onto a Space, or select links and use Save to Space.
Organize with AI
- In Inbox, select tabs if needed and choose Organize with AI.
- Choose Free trial or add your own Jev key.
- Check the data-sharing notice, then choose Generate suggestions.
- Review destinations and change any you want.
- Choose Apply suggestions. Only selected links move; low-confidence and unmatched links stay in Inbox unless you choose otherwise.
Grouping uses titles, domains and existing Space names and criteria, rather than webpage bodies. Free requests go through Cloudflare to TypeSafe Jev; your own key connects directly to TypeSafe. See the privacy policy for the full data flow and retention details.
Free results and your own key
This installation includes 10 free results, up to 50 tabs per request. One valid result saved for review uses one run, even if you don’t apply it. Usage is stored in this Chrome profile.
When the trial ends, open Settings and add your own Jev API key. You can also use your own key before the trial ends. Obtain a key from https://console.typesafe.ai/, paste it into the key settings, choose Test key, then Save key. Key testing checks model access without sending tab content or generating suggestions. Grouping is billed to your provider account. Manual saving and organization remain available without AI.
Own-key tasks support up to 500 tabs and may make several provider requests. Your key stays in this Chrome profile for direct TypeSafe requests; it is excluded from backups and is not sent to the free relay. Local key storage is not an encrypted vault.
Reopen what you need
Restore one Inbox entry, selected entries, or a batch into the current window. Only browser-confirmed restores leave Inbox. Space links stay saved when opened; Open Space opens the whole project in a new window.
Pin the shortcut
Open Chrome’s Extensions menu, find JevtabAI and select its pin. Clicking the toolbar icon saves and closes eligible tabs in your current window. To open the manager without saving, use its pinned tab or right-click the toolbar icon and choose Open JevtabAI manager.
Keep a backup
In Settings, choose Export backup to keep a JSON copy of your links and Spaces. Restore from backup previews the import and offers merge or replace. A local recovery copy is made before import. Keys and AI usage are excluded from portable backups.
There is no built-in cloud sync. Export before uninstalling if you want to keep your material. Deleting an entry does not delete older exports, recovery copies or AI caches.
If AI cannot connect
Use Check connection inside Organize with AI and allow the requested service access. The health page is https://ai.trytabspace.com/health. A successful health check verifies relay availability; it does not complete a model request or use a free run.
If grouping still fails, copy the safe diagnostic summary from the error details and email bryceyufeng@gmail.com with the extension version, Chrome version, operating system and a short description. Don’t send keys or private browser backups.
A failed request without a saved result uses no local free run. It may still have reached Jev; retrying starts a new request and own-key requests may be billed. The product does not automatically retry or switch access sources.
